For 20+ years and 500+ celebrations, I've been documenting full weddings for couples who want something more than a hotel ballroom. Whether your day unfolds at a mountain lodge in Telluride, a cliffside venue in Yosemite, or a lakeside estate in Tahoe, my approach stays the same: capture the real moments, trust the light, and let the landscape become part of your story.
I work journalistically during the day itself — no posed group marathons, no stiff interruptions. During portraits, I guide you through natural movement and find angles where the emotion of your day meets the drama of the location. The result is a gallery full of real moments and timeless imagery, not trendy edits that will look dated in five years.

How far in advance should we book?

Most of my wedding couples book 12-18 months in advance, especially for peak-season weddings in Telluride, Yosemite, and Lake Tahoe. For destination weddings in high-demand months (June-October), earlier is always better.
Do you travel for weddings?

Yes, I travel extensively. My primary destinations are Telluride, Yosemite, Crested Butte, Lake Tahoe, and the Pacific Northwest, but I've photographed weddings worldwide — from the Italian Alps to Fiji, Baja Mexico, Nepal, and Greece. Travel fees for destinations outside my core service areas are discussed during the booking conversation.
Do you offer a second shooter?

Second shooter coverage is available as an option on the Sequoia and Giant Sequoia packages, or as an add-on to any other wedding package. A second shooter is recommended for weddings with more than 100 guests or complex timelines with simultaneous events (getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour across multiple locations).
When will we receive our photos?

Sneak peek images are delivered within days of your wedding. The full gallery is delivered within 6-8 weeks, depending on the season and complexity of the shoot. All images are color enhanced and delivered as high-resolution digital files via a private online gallery.
